Bringing Autonomous Driving Into an Industrial Setting
Finland-based autonomous driving company Sensible 4 shifted its sights to industrial applications with its latest automated driving software platform DAWN. The software that will drive vehicles will be optimized for use in mines, factories, refineries, wood processing plants, ports and logistic centers. The need for automated driving technology within industry could not be more apparent: The American Trucking Association forecasts there will be a shortage of 160,000 drivers by 2030.
